The head coach of the indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Antonio Conceicao has retained 27 players out of the 31 preliminary list ahead of match day 5 and 6 of the ongoing FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Malawi and Cote d’Ivoire.
The list sees the return of Ambroise Oyongo, Andre Onana and Tawamba Kana who last played for the lions three years ago.
The lights of Paul George Ntep, injured Yvan Neyou, Samuel Junior Kotto, Narcisse Nlend and Lambert Ariena were all dropped.
The 27 lions are expected in Cameroon by the start of next week, where they will have a training session in the country, before traveling to South Africa.
Cameroon will the flames of Malawi at the Orlando Stadium in South Africa on November 11, then host the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire three days later at the Japoma Sports Complex in Douala.
