Manchester United will have eyes on this week’s Europa League Final clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night with a win their only route back into the Champions League.
United have endured a torried domestic campaign and sit in 16th place ahead of the final game of the season on Sunday. A win over Spurs during the week would be a major boost when it comes to PSR and giving Ruben Amorim the funds needed to rebuild his squad.
The club have already been linked with a host of high-profile transfer targets, while a number of stars have also been tipped to leave Old Trafford.

Manchester United ‘want Emiliano Martinez’
Manchester United will reportedly face competition from La Liga champions Barcelona in a battle to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez this summer.
According to Spanish outlet DSport, United and Barca are keen on signing the Argentinian shot stopper who appaeared to wave goodbye to the Villa Park faithful following their 2-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur on Friday night.
It was that reaction at full-time that has prompted transfer speculation this summer, despite his current contract expiring in the summer of 2029.
MEN Sport says: “It would not come as a surprise to see United bring in a goalkeeper during the summer transfer window with Andre Onana struggling this season. It’s clear Altay Bayindir isn’t fancied by Amorim, despite coming into the starting XI in recent weeks. A move for Martinez would be a smart signing this summer.”
Fabrizio Romano claims Viktor Gyokeres will ‘surely leave’ Sporting CP this summer with an asking price already agreed between club and player.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Romano said: “Despite public statements, Viktor Gyökeres will surely leave Sporting this summer with a fee already agreed. Package worth around €65m can be enough to get green light from Sporting as agreed with Gyökeres months ago. Discussions with top European clubs continue.”
MEN Sport says: “United will almost definitely bring in a striker in the upcoming transfer window and Gyokeres is a player that Amorim knows well from their time at Sporting. If they can get funds together, then it would be a missed opportunity if they aren’t able to sign him.
