Bayern Munich’s 2026 Wiesn jersey will bring an unmistakable Oktoberfest touch to the club’s Bundesliga meeting with Union Berlin on 18 September.
The special-edition shirt uses a black base with a colourful floral pattern, giving the traditional Wiesn release a brighter and more modern look. It also carries a dedicated FC Bayern Wiesn emblem and the adidas Trefoil logo.
A Bayern tradition with a fresh design
Bayern’s Oktoberfest shirt has become an annual part of the club’s identity, connecting the team to one of Munich’s best-known celebrations. This year’s design moves away from a restrained look and puts the floral artwork at the centre of the shirt.
The timing adds to the appeal. Bayern are scheduled to wear the jersey at home against Union Berlin, giving supporters their first matchday look at the new release in a competitive Bundesliga setting.
More than a matchday jersey
Special kits work because they tell a story about a club and its city. The Wiesn shirt does exactly that, using the visual language of Oktoberfest while keeping Bayern’s identity visible through the crest, colours and matchday setting.
For supporters, the Union Berlin fixture will therefore carry an extra layer of theatre before the football begins. The shirt is designed to celebrate Munich, but Bayern will still be expected to deliver on the pitch.
