No. 21 UCLA will host No. 5 Ohio State on Thursday, Sept. 17, in a major early-season Big Ten women’s soccer matchup.
The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT at Wallis Annenberg Stadium in Los Angeles and will be available on B1G+. UCLA enters the contest at 4-3-1 overall and 1-1-0 in conference play, while Ohio State is 6-0-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the Big Ten.
The Bruins have already faced three top-five opponents this season: No. 3 Duke, No. 1 Stanford and No. 5 Michigan State. Their most recent outing was a 1-0 defeat against Michigan State on Sept. 13.
Ohio State arrives unbeaten in conference play after opening its Big Ten schedule with shutout victories over Penn State and Indiana. The Buckeyes are led by Amanda Schlueter, who scored twice in the win over Indiana and has six goals this season.
UCLA leads the all-time series 2-0, including a 1-0 Big Ten victory in the teams’ most recent meeting in Los Angeles.
