Bologna’s New Era Begins: Raffaele Palladino Set for Official Unveiling

Bologna are preparing to officially present Raffaele Palladino as the club’s new head coach, with the unveiling scheduled for Thursday at the Niccolò Galli training centre.

The club says Palladino will meet the media at 17:30 in the training centre’s press room. Attendance requires accreditation, subject to the available number of places.

The announcement gives Bologna supporters their first formal look at the coach who has built a reputation in Italian football for his work with developing teams. Palladino began coaching in Monza’s youth setup before moving into the Primavera and then taking charge of the first team in September 2022.

A coach with Serie A experience

His time at Monza produced two consecutive seasons of survival, including an 11th-place finish in his first campaign. Palladino later guided Fiorentina to a sixth-place Serie A finish and a run to the Conference League semi-finals.

He also took over at Atalanta during the previous campaign. The club reached the Champions League knockout stage under his watch before being eliminated by Bayern, then finished seventh in Serie A.
