In a series of interviews on Tuesday, al-Khelaïfi insisted that Mbappé had given him his word that he would stay in Paris.
“He has a gentleman’s agreement with me,” al-Khelaïfi told L’Équipe. “Our agreement is not a matter of money. It is between a player and the president of the club, the sporting director and the coach. It is more than a signed agreement.”
